Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a MacOS Systems Administrator (JAMF Pro Specialist) to lead the management and security of our Apple device environment. You will oversee Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and related services, driving automation and secure configurations across enterprise Macs.

The role requires expertise in macOS administration, device enrollment, and identity management, with strong scripting skills to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree with the specified years of related experience as it relates to technology used at the organization.
• Experience administering macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment with Jamf Pro or similar tool.
• Proven scripting ability (Bash or shell) for automations and workflows.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment for device lifecycle management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to train support teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize enterprise macOS management platform using Jamf Pro and related services.
• Design and implement enrollment, provisioning, configuration, and retirement processes.
• Automate deployment, policy enforcement, inventory, and remediation workflows.
• Support Apple Business Manager, ADE, and device lifecycle management.
• Integrate Apple devices with identity/access management platforms (Microsoft 365/Entra ID).
• Implement security controls, encryption, compliance reporting, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop scripts and dashboards to monitor device health and performance.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration.
