Job summary

Royal Communications Consultants Inc. is seeking a MacOS X / Apple Desktop Support Engineer for an on-site role in New York, NY. You will provide support for Apple devices and desktops in a 500+ macOS environment and contribute to user onboarding and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include creating documentation, assisting with training materials, and helping senior stakeholders with complex issues. Expect 90% of work in NYC with travel to Columbus, OH or Plano, TX as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years total progressive IT experience.
• 2+ years supporting Apple platforms in enterprise environments of 500+ macOS machines.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, from end users to IT peers.
• Understanding of supporting technologies such as authentication, networking, wireless, VPN, peripherals etc.

MacOS X /Apple Desktop Support Engineer, on-site in New York, NY Candidates must be local / commutable to NYC The Desktop Support Group is looking for an endpoint engineer with a focus on supporting MacOS and optionally iOS / iPadOS. Should have experience in smartphones, tablets, Mac. The position is based onsite in New York City. Will be responsible for all manner of engineering related support to enterprise integration of macOS and optionally iOS / iPadOS within a digital workplace environment.

As a desktop engineer with MacOS, you will:

• Provide support for Apple devices and desktops.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as well as assist with training and related materials as needed.
• Troubleshooting OS X

Primary skillset:

• Must have experience supporting Mac/Apple devices
• Work will take place in midtown NYC.
• Ability to provision and deprovision Mac devices.
• Responsible for handling, testing, and deploying Mac devices, as well as assisting users with setup and onboarding.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders.
• Will perform approximately 90% of the work in New York City, with occasional travel to Columbus, OH, or Plano, TX. Travel expenses will be covered.
• Scripting knowledge is a plus. (ZSH / Bash / Python)
