Qualifications

• Enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be 17–35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass physical exam.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine shop equipment (lathes, grinders, welders).
• Read blueprints or plans to determine parts to be made.
• Cut and shape metal stock using various tools.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
