Job summary
DC Army National Guard seeks a skilled Machinist to repair, modify, and fabricate parts for equipment. You will operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, welding gear, and other machine shop tools, reading blueprints to produce precise components.
Training consists of Basic Training (10 weeks) and Advanced Individual Training (13 weeks). You will earn a regular paycheck during drill weekends and may qualify for tuition assistance, with benefits supporting a civilian career in manufacturing and
Qualifications
- Must enlist in Army National Guard.
- Must be at least a high school student or have a diploma or GED.
- Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
- Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
