Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking an Aircraft Structural Repairer to inspect, service, and repair structural components on aircraft, ensuring readiness for training and missions. You will work with drawings, blueprints, and manuals to perform repairs in controlled environments and in the field.

This role includes learning through hands-on training, earning a regular paycheck during drill weekends, and access to tuition assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Engine disassembly, repair, and inspection.
• Repair of aluminum, steel, and fiberglass airframes/coverings.
• Fix hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair/replace aircraft structural components according to drawings and manuals.
• Fabricate structural parts using metal-forming techniques and fiberglass.
• Repair transparent plastic windows and enclosures.
• Balance aircraft controls and apply primers/paints on surfaces.
• Maintain facilities for storage of flammable/hazardous materials.
