Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Construction Vehicle Repairer to maintain trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, and other heavy equipment essential for construction operations. You’ll learn to service engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, with hands-on training that leads to civilian career options in automotive and construction sectors.

The role includes training through Basic and Advanced Individual Training, paid during service, and opportunities for tuition assistance with a pathway

Qualifications

• Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.
• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Service drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, water pumps, and turbochargers.
• Maintain and replace cylinder heads, high‑pressure fuel injection pumps, and road wheels.
