Spira Manufacturing is seeking a Machinist Intern to learn fundamental machining operations through supervised experience with CNC and waterjet equipment. The intern will support setup preparation, material handling, inspection, preventive maintenance, 6S, safety improvements, documentation, and other machining tasks as assigned. Machine operation will occur only after required training and under authorized supervision.

Education: Currently enrolled in high school, college, university, or a relevant career/technical program; coursework or interest in machining, manufacturing, mechanical technology, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
Years’ Experience: No prior professional experience required. Exposure to machining, manufacturing, shop safety, technical coursework, measurement, or hands‑on projects is helpful.
