Job summary

Spira Manufacturing Corp in San Fernando, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to support production processes and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality output. You will perform station setups, run processes per procedures, and maintain accurate travelers and logs.

The role requires 1+ year in manufacturing, a HS Diploma/GED, and ability to work with PPE and basic computer systems for time and project tracking.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to operate production machinery and follow written procedures.
• Must work safely with PPE and respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform station and machine setups as requested.
• Perform production processes as outlined in written company procedures and/or as instructed by supervisor.
• Accurately fill out production work travelers.
• Follow safety rules as written in Safety Manual and discussed in Safety Meetings.
• Use manufacturing computer for time and project tracking.
• Keep workstation clean and tidy. Ensure no tools in assigned toolbox are lost.
• Perform cleanup daily as requested.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Spira Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician 1 who will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the production process, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate production of high-quality products.

Job Specifications:

• Ability to work while wearing a respirator / safety PPE to minimize exposure to some chemicals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain production machinery and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
