Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a skilled Machinist 3 to join our aerospace machining team. You will set up and operate conventional, NC, and CNC mill/lathe machines to fabricate critical aerospace components. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and perform basic G-code programming support.

The role requires 1–3 years of machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong GD&T knowledge. You will work on site in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related machining experience required.
• GD&T knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude are required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and file management are required.
• High school diploma or GED; higher coursework/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate conventional, NC, and CNC milling machines or lathes.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, feed rates, and cutting depths.
• Provide basic G-code/conversational programming support.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally per blueprint specs using precise measuring devices.
• Assemble machined parts into complete units and log data into the system.
