dormakaba Americas in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Machinist I to perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as part of our manufacturing team. The role may include third shift (10:00PM – 6:30AM) with a base pay range of $18.56/hr. – $35/hr. plus $0.75/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience operating machines, setups, tool changes, etc.
• Understanding of shop math & GD&T.
• Ability to perform advanced quality inspections.
• Fluency in both verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine according to standard operating instructions (SOP).
• Document and inspect quality of work per QAIP.
• Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparators.
