Qualifications

• Competent with scale and other simple measuring tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming new orders and determine first steps for machining.
• Prepare materials for testing using saws and assist Machinist II with mills and lathes.
• Review specimen numbers and determine disposal methods.
• Sort excess material and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform ongoing machine maintenance and report repairs as needed.
