Job summary

MP Materials in the United States is building a 24/7 advanced manufacturing facility. The Production Operator will pilot start-up operations, set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, and participate in piloting activities to learn the process.

You will read blueprints, inspect tools, follow recipes and work instructions, perform routine maintenance, document data, and contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong housekeeping practices.
• Basic computer skills including data entry into ERP and Excel.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect and test tools and dies to ensure quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and dies to maintain performance.
• Operate rare earth processing equipment in the Finishing department.
• Document, collect, and report production data.
