Job summary

FM Industries in Livermore, CA, is seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist 3 for a day shift to set-up and run complex parts with minimal supervision. The role includes supporting process development and adhering to shop paper procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years of trade school, vocational education, or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.

• Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications
• Program, set-up, and run all facets of work assigned
• Perform first piece inspection accurately, assist in development of check sheets
• Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist 3 required to set-up and run the most complex proven or new parts with little to no supervision. Will assist in the development of new processes.

• Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities
