Job summary

TAIT in Lititz, PA, seeks a Mechanical Fabricator to assemble, weld, and repair TAIT products. You will read blueprints, select materials, and ensure finished parts meet tight tolerances for client delivery.

Work with MIG, TIG, and FCAW processes, collaborate with engineering and production teams, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with opportunities to contribute to iconic live events worldwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with welding techniques.
• Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of welding symbols.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Rigging equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to learn TAIT software (Epicor, Slack, Box).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Select and verify correct materials for each project.
• Assess material and part quality before fabrication; report concerns.
• Apply fabrication and assembly techniques safely and efficiently.
• Use fabrication tools safely and accurately.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances and product specifications.
• Perform quality checks upon assignment completion.
• Record as-built modifications and maintain traceability.
• Handle materials safely, with or without lifting equipment.
• Monitor tools for wear and report equipment issues.
• Understand maintenance needs of equipment.
• Support related tasks as needed (finish work, paint prep).
