Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred with 3-5 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Complete/check/rework burr sheet metal and machined parts and assemblies using various machines and hand tools.
• Determine dimensions, angles, tolerances and finishes by interpreting planning documents, drawings and engineering orders.
• Layout holes and radii cutouts and set up operations as per drawings.
• Select and operate tools to deburr, repair or rework parts.
• Machine, drill, grind, file, ream, face, tap and lap parts to spec.
• Set up roto-finishing to grind, hone and polish finishes.
• Verify accuracy of parts prior to inspection using precision instruments.
• Record manufacturing data on computer.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and GD&T.
