rms Company in Minnesota is seeking a Machinist Assistant/Kitter to support tooling assembly, kitting, and floor operations. You will follow setup sheets, read work instructions, perform basic inspection, and help maintain an organized, compliant manufacturing area.

This role rewards careful multitasking, strong communication with tool crib and production teams, and adherence to 5S, ISO, and cGMP standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Competenze

Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Able to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
Perform basic math, hand–eye coordination, and dexterity.
Able to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Mansioni

Inspect tooling/parts using microscopes and calipers as required.
Complete production records, quality checks, and history records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
Handle and work with cleaning chemicals as needed.
Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S.
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and ISO/cGMP requirements.
Assist machinists with operating and maintaining machine tools and manage kitting records.
