Job summary

rms Company in Minnesota is seeking a Machinist Assistant/Kitter to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble tool boxes, assist machinists, load/unload materials, and help maintain a clean, organized shop floor while following 5S and quality procedures.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday shift (6:00am–3:30pm), competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of Cretex Medical. Experience with inspection tools and basic math is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP.
• Experience with microscopes or inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection on tooling and/or parts using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools.
• Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, and history records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
• Handle and work with cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
• Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
• Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
