Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Machinist 3-Lead for our Lancaster, PA facility. This onsite contract role offers potential for hire after performance review.

You will lead advanced machine setups, mentor junior machinists, and ensure tight tolerances for critical components, working 40 hours weekly. Responsibilities include process optimization, troubleshooting, documenting procedures, and collaborating with quality and engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years machining experience.
• Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T.

• Hone Koyo Centerless Grind CNC drill operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, setup, quality, and process issues.
• Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Train and mentor Machinists 1, 2, and Operators.
• Document and refine setup procedures and standard work instructions.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.
• Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule

Requirements
