Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3 and 5 Axis Milling Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications using a variety of measurement tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, military training or certification in. machining or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating 3 and 5 axis milling machines.
• Experience with tight tolerances and precision parts.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with metrology/measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Tool Grinding.
• Experience with Swiss style lathes.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs.
• Experience with NPI.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
