Responsibilities

• Work in our model shop to provide prototype parts, custom tooling, and other parts to R&D and Order Fulfillment customers.
• Produce parts that meet customer requirements and specifications, and collaborate with engineering to identify Design for Manufacturing opportunities.
• Quickly produce prototypes from a “napkin sketch” design to a fully annotated 3D model with 2D drawings.
• Set up and program CNC milling machines, operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc.
• Understand machining principles and techniques.
• Work with tooling/fixturing and determine process of tool builds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications

Proficiency in manual mills/lathes, CNC programming (preferably with MasterCam), setup/operation of CNC equipment, tooling/fixturing, and working independently are required. Desirable skills include Swiss lathe programming/setup, EDM experience, sheet metal fabrication, laser or waterjet cutting, multi-axis programming, CAD experience, and leadership experience.

The pay range is USD $54,510.00 - USD $90,850.00 annually, depending on experience, education, and skills. Most offers will be between the minimum and midpoint of this range. This role is eligible for the Keysight Results Bonus Program.
