Job Summary

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines in the production of precision components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances. The candidate will collaborate with engineers and team members to improve manufacturing efficiency and ensure quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines for high-precision parts
• Read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints
• Perform quality inspections using metrology tools
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow safety regulations and operational procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• At least 5 years of experience with 3 and 5 axis milling machines
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts
• Knowledge of GD&T and metrology tools
• Understanding of machining principles and techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Background in tool grinding
• Familiarity with Swiss-style lathes
• Knowledge of advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMMs)
• Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials up to 35 pounds
• Prolonged standing and working around machinery
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
