Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Reno, NV seeks a Machinist (2nd Shift) to join our Tool & Die team. The role involves reading blueprints, inspecting tools, and performing die changeovers on multiple products.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.20 plus $0.50 shift differential, benefits from day one, and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years machining experience in operation of lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses and surface grinders.
• Read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers and tape measures for dimensional checks.
• Legal work status in the United States without sponsorship; no relocation offered.
• Within 50 miles of Reno, NV; ability to work 2nd shift on site.

This position is based at our Reno, NV.Able to determine and assess damage to existing tooling and what steps necessary to repair tooling.Able to determine if Die is dull or cracked and needs to be resharpened or repaired.Able to determine if the poor quality of a product is the result of a tooling problem, or a setup problem.Able to Perform Die Changeovers for different products.Read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and tape measure for checking dimensions.#IND123Qualifications:Basic Qualification:Must have a minimum of three (3) years machining experience and skilled in the operation of lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grindersMust have a minimum of three (3) years experience in an industrial environment or similar environmentAbility to read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for checking dimensions.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
