Job summary

Eaton’s Reno facility is seeking a Machine Operator II - Primaries to operate and troubleshoot presses, tag tubs, and document parts. You’ll enter data in SAP and manage inventory to keep production flowing efficiently.

Strong blueprint-reading and measurement tool skills are needed, with a team‑oriented approach and commitment to safety. Overtime and shift hours may apply per production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery or presses.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and other gauges.
• Experience confirming parts meet specs using measuring tools.
• Proactive, team‑oriented with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines/presses efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve basic issues.
• Identify and tag tubs per shop orders.
• QC and document parts produced on machines.
• Enter data into SAP accurately.
• Inventory components to support production.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - Primaries to join our team in Reno, NV! The rate for this position is $22.73 plus .50 shift differential per hour.The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm - 11 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
