Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Reno, NV is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our team. You will operate machines/presses, read blueprints, enter data in SAP, and manage parts inventory while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Competitive benefits apply, with a shift from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read drawings or blueprints and interpret shop drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, scales, and calipers.
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Must follow safety policies and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines/presses and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
• QC and document all parts run on machines.
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP system.
• Inventory components and supplies to ensure efficient production.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

This position is at our Reno, NV facility.In this function you will:Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/pressesTroubleshoot various machinery problemsIdentify and tag tubs according to shop ordersQC and document all parts run on machinesRetrieve and enter data into SAP computer systemInventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely productionKeep work areas clean and safeQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position.
