Job summary

Rebo Lighting & Electronics, LLC in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a Machinist on the 2nd shift to operate and maintain traditional machine shop equipment, with a focus on plastic injection molds. You will interpret blueprints, fabricate parts, and support tooling and fixtures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5 years in a machine shop, a related technical education, and hands-on experience with mold maintenance.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
Formal education or training in a related technical field.
Experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance/repair.
Able to set up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM.

Responsibilities

Operate traditional machine shop equipment to repair, maintain, and fabricate tooling and fixtures for manufacturing with emphasis on plastic injection molds.
Maintain a safe working attitude and promote a safety culture.
Work with little or no supervision.
Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
Fabricate parts with high accuracy and tight tolerances.
Perform tool repairs and preventative maintenance.
Support design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures.
Assemble and debug tools and fixtures for production area.
