Job summary

MB Attachments, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in New Holstein, WI, is seeking a skilled Machinist for the 2nd shift. You will fabricate structural metal products and set up fabricating machines to meet blueprints and tolerances.

The role requires precise measurement, safe operation of CNC mills/lathes, brakes, and drill presses, and operation of an overhead crane and forklift in a manufacturing setting. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines (CNC mills/lathes, brakes).
• Verify conformance with specifications using calipers and micrometers.
• Enter data into production records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, saws, and drill presses.
• Follow job related materials, work instructions and setup sheets.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Position

Machinists are responsible for machining and fabricating structural metal products.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, saws, and drill presses
• Follow job related materials, work instructions and set up sheets.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work from established layout and follows sequence of operations.
• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
• Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications. Ability to use and read tape measures, dial calipers, micrometers and bore micrometers.
• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
