Aebi Schmidt North America in New Holstein, WI is seeking an Assembler for the 3rd shift to build surface maintenance equipment per blueprints and specifications. The role supports assembly lines with precise components and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

As part of MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand, you will read drawings, use hand and power tools, and operate cranes and forklifts to ensure quality builds. Strong attention to detail is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
• Follow established work instructions and sequence of operations.
• Operate hand and power tools and perform quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
• Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, along with attaching hardware and sealing assembly.
• Routes and ties electrical components, along with calibrating unit according to specification(s).
• Routes and installs hydraulic components.
• Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
• Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies, along with reworks, repairs, or replacing faulty component parts.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Position

Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
• Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, along with attaching hardware and sealing assembly.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment, and crate, pack, and move finished goods.
• Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required.
• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
• Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
