Job summary

Aebi Schmidt North America in New Holstein, WI is seeking a Machinist for the 2nd shift to join the MB Attachments team. The Machinist will set up and operate fabricating machines and contribute to precision metal fabrication in a production environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, handling layout, and using precision measuring tools, with responsibilities including crane/forklift operation and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Ability to work from established layout and follows sequence of operations.
• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, saws, and drill presses.
• Follow job related materials, work instructions and set up sheets.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Position

Machinists are responsible for machining and fabricating structural metal products.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, saws, and drill presses
• Follow job related materials, work instructions and set up sheets.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work from established layout and follows sequence of operations.
• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
• Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications. Ability to use and read tape measures, dial calipers, micrometers and bore micrometers.
• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
