Position Summary

We are seeking a Machinist who operates CNC and conventional machines to fabricate parts. Responsibilities include loading parts, cycling machines, detecting malfunctions, running production lots, communicating with co-workers, and maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment. The role supports our Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and other policies, emphasizing customer satisfaction, quality, lean processes, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, safety, teamwork, accountability, and respect for people.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machining centers for production runs.
  • Check and monitor machined parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, including dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Produce the correct quantity of parts within cycle times.
  • Deburr and blend machined parts.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete and maintain paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates without may need to pass a pre-employment assessment.
  • Trade school experience in machining preferred.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
  • Focus and concentration skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Work in environments with variable noise levels.
  • Wear PPE as required.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
