We are seeking an experienced machinist capable of independently machining parts through programming, setup, editing, and operating both CNC and manual machines. The role involves maintaining quality and safety standards, record-keeping, and equipment maintenance. The machinist will handle a wide range of assignments, using independent judgment to apply procedures to specific work situations.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with Fanuc and Mazak controls and able to move between different work centers. Our Gatan Machine Shop produces low-volume, close-tolerance parts used in scientific research, with sizes ranging from under 0.06" to 24". You will collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinability and reduce costs, working closely with programmers, engineers, and co-workers.

Hourly employee, with a salary range of $55,000 to $80,000. No incentive offered. Salary depends on experience, skills, and location.
