As a Machinist I, you will play an essential role in producing precision-machined components that meet demanding quality and production standards.
Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment, including mills and lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and work instructions
Select proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments
Adjust machine offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements are met
Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with machinists and machine technicians while following established programming standards
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Meet production schedules while consistently delivering quality work
Previous manufacturing experience required
0 to 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or similar machining equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and engineering drawings
Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical degree or certification in Machining or Manufacturing Technology
Recent graduates of machining programs are encouraged to apply
Experience working in a team-focused production environment
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and manufacturing processes

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
