New hires for this position typically start between $30.33 and $37.91 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

Set up, operates, or tends milling machines or lathes to mill, shape, groove, turns or profile metal work pieces. Performs complex series of progressive machining operations on diversified work to close tolerances. Read blueprints, drawings and diagrams to ensure customer specifications are met. Perform machine programming and train lower grade employees.
