We have an exciting opportunity for a Machinist at our Providence, RI location.

Objectives:

1. Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to produce precision parts for air gaging and metrology equipment.
2. Set up and operate conventional milling machines to produce parts to precise tolerances and surface finishes.
3. Perform in-process inspections of parts from engineering prints using inspection equipment provided by Mahr.

Requirements:

1. High school or vocational training with 3 to 5 years of machining experience.
2. Attention to detail and proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and indicators.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Strong blueprint reading, math, and measuring skills.
