Job summary

DRT Metal Packaging is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines for precision aerospace components. The role demands reading blueprints, GD&T, and performing tool offsets with attention to quality and safety.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of CNC experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing and can work with limited supervision. 1st shift available; OT voluntary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.

DRT is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers to manufacture precision aerospace components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Shift(s) Available

• 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM


• OT: Voluntary

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines


• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions


• Perform tool offsets, adjustments, and minor program edits


• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools


• Maintain production documentation and quality records


• Follow safety procedures and support 5S initiatives
