Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMD Cheswick site is seeking skilled Machinists for day and night shifts. Candidates should bring CNC programming and broad machine shop experience, including large boring mills and turning centers. Training on first shift will be provided, with union position assignments to 2nd or 3rd shift.

Proficiency with manual and CNC grinding and the ability to hold close tolerances on big parts is required. DoD eligibility and U.S. citizenship are necessary.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience preferred.
• High school graduate plus completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.
• US citizen due to DoD requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Experience on large components and both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to tolerances.
• Troubleshoot CNC tooling and machines as needed.
• Work on large ferrous and non-ferrous parts with various mills and lathes.
