Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Mechanic Millwright for our Cheswick, PA location. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to accommodate operations were you will install, repair and align complex equipment.

You will work with lathes, milling machines, and other machinist tools, performing laser alignment and precision maintenance to support DoD and nuclear-related systems.

Qualificações

• Four years’ experience in the Mechanic Millwright repair field.
• High School graduate with four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or an Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology.
• Prior machining experience with lathe, milling machine, boring mill, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Install, move, reconstruct, repair and rebuild machines and major site equipment.
• PM work including laser alignment.
• Operate a lathe and milling machine and other machinist equipment.
• Use department communication devices and handle precision instruments.

We are looking for a Mechanic Millwright ( to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. Shifts: 1st Shift: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 11:30 am or 3rd shift: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am

Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens. Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.

Your Challenge

Install, move, reconstruct, repair and rebuild machines and major site equipment requiring planning and improvisation of methods. This includes day-to-day repair, modification and/or replacement of Test Loops. PM work includes laser alignment. Machine repair parts as required. Mechanic’s hand tools, portable power tools, material handling equipment, pneumatic winches, hammer drills, large power hoists, ladders, scaffolds, cable slings, precision levels, laser transit, monitoring equipment including instrumentation, and pressure gauges. Operate a lathe and milling machine, and required machinist equipment. Use department communication devices. All types of machine tools, such as, but not limited to conventional equipment, numerical-controlled equipment, boilers, pumps, and all types of raw materials, i.e., structural steel material, bar and flat sock, soldering and other metal joining materials.

What You Bring

• High School graduate plus completion of a four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology
• Four years’ experience working in the Mechanic Millwright repair field.
• Prior machining experience, such as lathe, milling machine, boring mill, etc.
