Job summary

Jobot in Bradley, Illinois is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC or manual mills and lathes to produce custom parts. You will read blueprints and specifications, select tooling and machining parameters, and inspect finished parts to ensure quality in a clean, safe shop.

We welcome both machining experience and motivated apprentices who want to learn, with competitive pay and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining methods while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect completed parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Machining experience is preferred, but motivated apprentices willing to learn will be considered.
