Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team in Kalispell, MT. The role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-precision components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring products meet tight tolerances.

A strong attention to detail and hands-on problem solving are essential. Candidates should have 5+ years in CNC machining, GD&T knowledge, and be capable of standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines and milling machines.
• Extensive knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• CNC Programming experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines and milling machines to produce high-quality parts and materials.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately produce parts.
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery, equipment and tools, and ensure their optimal working condition.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and overall product quality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Train junior machinists and operators, imparting valuable skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• CNC Programming experience is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods of time.
