Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Machinist in Bradley, IL for a permanent, on-site role. Join an established local machine shop delivering custom machining, fabrication, repair and design services. You will read blueprints, select tooling and machining methods, inspect parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC or manual mills and lathes to produce custom parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining methods while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect completed parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Machining experience is preferred, but motivated apprentices willing to learn will be considered.

Responsibilities
