Dextech is hiring Machining Trainees for 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) in Dexter, MI. Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical skills and good attendance are encouraged to apply. Training starts on first shift with transition to the second shift after onboarding.

Primary responsibilities include setup and operation of fastener production machinery, tool/die changes, and quality checks. Company offers medical/dental/vision benefits and a 401(k) plan, with wage progression starting at $20/hour

We are seeking entry-level candidates with strong mechanical skills, a willingness to grow, and excellent attendance.These are second-shift positions, though training is typically completed on the first shift. Please note that the manufacturing environment is subject to seasonal temperature changes, where it can be hot during the summer months and cooler during the winter months.**Primary responsibilities include:*** Setting up and operating machinery for fastener production (with a focus on safety, quality, and production)* Perform tool and die changes.* Perform oil changes.* Perform in process quality checks to ensure compliance with customer requirements.* Operate hi-lo equipment to assist with material handling.* Follow 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, efficient working environment.* **Growth & Advancement:** Dextech offers competitive pay starting at $20 per hour for these roles.
