Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Machining Tech II - 2nd Shift for our Fullerton, CA facility to operate and maintain production machines after setup, including lathes, mills and drillers. The role emphasizes quality and precise tolerances in aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn or have knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent education.
• Prior machining experience.
• Able to read/interpret part drawings; use quality tools (calipers, mics, comparators).
• Read and interpret blueprints; understand speeds and feeds for the machines.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard and specialized machines to precision tolerances after setup.
• Perform minor adjustments and tool changes.
• Operate machines according to work orders.
• Load parts, remove finished parts, and check with standard gauges.
• Monitor for malfunctions and report or stop as needed.
• Assist training of machine operators.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
