Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Set-Up – Machining specialist to lead and support our machining operators, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform machine setup, blueprint interpretation, use precision tools, and conduct quality inspections including CMM data. The role includes training new associates and applying root cause analysis to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or machine shop with precision measuring instruments.
• Authorize to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support machining operators, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Train and guide others on the floor and along machining processes.
• Complete TPM and quality checks and record data for product quality.
• Set up and operate machines to run production at required rates.
• Run CMM reports and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Read blueprints and control charts, converting metric to inches when needed.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment.
