On our 2nd shift, your expertise will set the pace for quality and throughput across CNC mills and lathes. Candidates with Tool and Die backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.Your MissionPrepare CNC equipment for production: install fixtures, load/verify programs, and set tooling for first-part success.Control quality at the source: execute tool changes, apply offsets, and refine feeds/speeds to hold tight tolerances.Use documentation to your advantage: read blueprints, work instructions, and inspection criteria with precision.Validate results: perform first-piece and in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.Be the problem-solver: diagnose machining, tooling, and setup issues to boost efficiency and reduce scrap.Enable the team: support operators during runs and share best practices.Protect the process: monitor tool wear, machine behavior, and process consistency.Record what matters: capture accurate setup notes and production documentation.Lead by example: follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times.QualificationsDemonstrated CNC setup experience in a precision machining environment.Hands-on setup experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machinery.Blueprint and engineering drawing literacy.Knowledge of tight tolerances, tooling choices, offsets, feeds, and speeds.Competence with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges).Mechanical aptitude and strong analytical troubleshooting ability.Comfort collaborating and working independently in a fast-paced environment.Tool and Die experience preferred.Preferred SkillsTool and Die or tooling-focused manufacturing experience.Working knowledge of GD&T and inspection workflows.Fixture setup expertise, process improvement mindset, and ability to troubleshoot complex operations.Strong dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Why Join UsWe’re a precision, quality-driven shop where your setup discipline sets the tone for the entire shift.
