Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Rocky Mount, NC, seeks a Site Quality Leader to direct the Machining Quality organization across three shifts, owning internal and customer quality metrics.

You will drive quality planning, prevention, and protection within Cummins Operating System and lead a hands-on team to deliver Right First Time results. You will partner with VPI/NBS to launch the Legend and Barracuda lines with quality built in.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a site quality organization across multiple shifts.
• Strong knowledge of IATF-16949, APQP/PPAP, FMEA and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Machining Quality organization across three shifts.
• Own internal and customer quality metrics with RFT focus.
• Partner with VPI/NBS to launch Legend and Barracuda lines with quality built in.
• Develop a high-performing quality team and drive continuous improvement.
• Advance Quality 4.0 using digital tools and data-driven decisions.
