Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, MS seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Machining to develop and optimize processes for engine components, review designs for manufacturability, and lead tooling and process improvements. You will collaborate across teams to meet cost, quality, and schedule goals in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will create and maintain SOPs/PFMEAs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO-aligned controls while coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or STEM with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work self-directed in a project team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review New Product Designs for Manufacturability and cost.
• Develop and refine processes for new product launch and production.
• Create/update SOPs, PFMEAs, and layouts for new products.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and manage tooling needs.
• Plan and implement equipment changes within project timeframes.
