PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, MS seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Machining SG 23 to develop and optimize machining processes for new engines. You will review designs for manufacturability, perform cost and production impact analyses, and create robust SOPs and PFMEAs.

You will coordinate with suppliers, drive equipment changes, and contribute to continuous improvement, leveraging ISO controls and best practices in the Manufacturing Engineering group.

• Review new product designs for manufacturability.
• Provide production impact and cost analysis for new product designs.
• Develop and refine processes for new product launches.
• Create or update SOPs, PFMEAs, and layouts for new products.
• Maintain and report project schedules.
• Specify and procure tooling and equipment to support new products.
• Participate in simultaneous engineering for new product development.
• Plan and implement equipment changes within project timelines.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers for modifications.
• Define equipment modifications with scalability for future design and volume expansion.
• Apply Manufacturing Engineering best practices.
• Update control documents per ISO requirements for new products.
• Design and implement shop aids and fixtures.
