Job summary

PACCAR Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Engine Plant in Columbus, MS. The role focuses on developing and managing technical training and product manufacturability. Ideal candidates will possess a B.S. in Engineering and have 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.

You will work closely with Department Managers to identify training gaps and implement best practices within the engineering group, contributing to product launch and process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing.
• 3-5 years minimum manufacturing experience with process and product knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership and influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new product designs for manufacturability.
• Provide production impact and cost analysis for new product designs.
• Develop and refine processes for new product launch.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers for outsourced modifications.
