Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a machining technician to support daily production on machining lines, including Cylinder Head Machining, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.

You will manage shift handoffs, align with maintenance to resolve downtime, take ownership of issues, and ensure production metrics and methods are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Controls.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Machining experience.
• CNC Machining Controls experience (PLC ladder logic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support machining activities and problem solving on machining lines, including Cylinder Head Machining, with cross-functional team alignment for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of topics and bring them to completion; manage handoffs between shifts for transparency.
• Engage with maintenance to resolve downtime and ensure adherence to production metrics and work methods.
