GEE Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to advance production performance through process innovation and continuous improvement in a Columbus, OH area facility.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to optimize machining operations, develop procedures, and implement tooling and equipment improvements that boost quality and efficiency.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machining processes and production operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing principles.
• Experience with business systems and production-related software.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or CAD/CAM platforms is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and production output.
• Support CNC machining operations by resolving technical and process challenges.
• Develop and update manufacturing methods, procedures, and process documentation.
• Coordinate tooling, fixturing, and equipment improvements to support goals.
• Analyze production data and lead corrective actions to improve quality and reduce downtime.
• Assist with new product implementation and process validation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to achieve performance objectives.
• Promote Lean initiatives and other productivity-focused improvements.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements.
