Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH, seeks a Machining Process Engineer focused on Turning, Milling, and Grinding (Manual and CNC). Lead improvement projects to cut rework, boost efficiency, and raise throughput. Develop SOPs so production operates these processes effectively.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and project management experience with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of independent work or as part of a team to deliver well-tested solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in engineering or technical field (B.S. Mechanical or Aerospace) or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interpret OEM repair manuals, FAA regulations, and blueprints.
• Experience with process implementation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repair processes and engine components to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with Production Managers to reduce rework and improve turnaround time.
• Develop or revise work instructions, tooling, and fixturing for production.
• Ensure process quality and testing meet FAA data and industry standards.
• Communicate repair processes and train others per standards.
